Register Your Baby, Toddler or Pre-School Child for 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten
Nationwide, this program encourages parents, grandparents and caregivers to read to their babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers every single day. If a family starts very young they will eventually have read aloud to their child 1,000 times before the start of kindergarten. Children who start kindergarten after having been exposed to reading systemically during their formative years will be equipped to learn to read and will enjoy the process of learning to read.
Our goal is to have 100 children complete the program in the next 5 years. Register to receive a free themed tote bag, the reading log and other materials. Children will win a brag tag for each 100 book milestone. Children will also receive free books to keep for their home library.
