Think the library is just books? Think again. Want to watch movies? We have DVDs, Blu-rays, and movies online. Want to play video games? PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, we have them.  Just need access to a computer or Wi-Fi? We can help. Want to learn another language or research your genealogy? Come in and check out our databases such as ABC Mouse, Pronunciator, Ancestry Library, and more. Home school your children? We have a parent-teacher collection and computers in our children's area.

A new database "Tumblebooks" features storybooks, read alongs, E-books, graphic novels, non-fiction, videos, language learning, playlist, and games and puzzles. Log on at mylakelibrary.org and search for Tumblebooks under the database tab.

Need E-books for your tablet, check out the inventory on the LCLS catalog.

We also have a few pay services: Printing is $0.15 per page for black and white and $0.25 per page for full color. Scanning and emailing a document is $0.25 per page. Faxing is $1.50 per page. Notary services are available, free for city taxpayers or $10.00 for non-residents. A 7 percent sales tax is collected on most transactions.

Children can have fun with our take-home crafts and storybooks. Ask our staff to help you find these items.
