Nature Photography Workshop

Friday, 1/28/2022 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM in the Umatilla Public Library Program Room

Professional photographer Mark Harris teaches you how to improve your pics of the natural world.  The workshop will begin with a presentation, “Painting with Light,” that will cover basics such as exposure, style, perspective, environmental portraits, behavior, composition and timing. Following the lecture Mr. Harris will take participants outside for practice.  Participants should bring the camera they use to take outdoor photographs.  Pre-register at the library.

Writing Your Memoirs - monthly writer's group focused on memoir writing


Tech Talk— short computer class on a specific topic.

Computer Basics—rotating series of classes for any adult who would like to learn. Topics include Internet Basics, Google/Gmail, Microsoft Office and more.

Umatilla Literary Society — if you love books and want to talk about them or if you wish you were motivated to read more this is for you. Read what you want and tell us about it.

Friends of the Library—join & support your local hometown library.
